- COVID-19 PANDEMIC PREVENTION AND CONTINGENCY PLAN -
- We are all facing a difficult challenge, the World is in crisis due to the pandemic of the corona virus Covid-19.
- Tecnisata developed a prevention and contingency plan, which came into force at the beginning of this week, as determined by the National Health Authorities, to minimize the risk of contagion and allow the properly function of essential activities.
- Therefore, in order to protect the health of our employees, employees of clients and suppliers, and ensuring the continuity of our activity, the following measures came into force:
- - Reduce visits by customers and suppliers to what is strictly necessary;
- - Whenever possible, meetings will be remote, instead of face-to-face with customers and suppliers;
- - If it is not possible to hold remote meetings with people outside the organization, the person responsible for the visit must ensure that a questionnaire is filled out by the external person. The questionnaire must be sent, via email, and received before the visit to assess the visitor's risk.
- - The employee who has traveled to the affected areas or contacted someone suspected of infection and presents signs and symptoms of respiratory infection such as: fever, cough and difficulty breathing, should remain at home and call the national health service 808 24 24 24 (SNS24) and immediately inform or contact internal SST or Direct Manager.
- - The employee who intends to travel to an area with community transmission, for personal reasons, must inform the internal STT or Direct Manager and / or HR.
- - Whenever possible, promote meetings between companies at a distance.
- - All travels abroad will be reduced to what is strictly necessary and trips to countries considered as “Areas with active community transmission” are suspended, updated according to the information provided by DGS. https://www.dgs.pt/pagina-de-entrada3/corona-virus/organizacoes-internacionais.aspx
- We are also sending our employees that can work remotely, home. And we are taking all possible diligences to keep our employees, who are unable to work remotely, safe in their workplaces.
- We are doing everything possible to maintain our normal activity, within these limitations.
- We ask our customers and suppliers to privilege contact by phone and email.
- Overcoming this pandemic depends on all of us.
- Let us be responsible for ourselves, for our families at home, for our co-workers, for the community.
- Respect the basic safety rules:
- - Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or using an aqueous alcohol-based solution;
- - Comply with respiratory etiquette rules (cover your nose and mouth when sneezing or coughing, with your arm or tissue, placing it immediately in the trash, and never with your hands);
- - Maintain social distance (at least one meter);
- - Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with your hands;
- - Avoid unnecessary travel, if possible, stay at home.
